Meet Sally, she's an adventurer, part time yogi and denim queen. Sally is the kind of girl that books plane tickets the week of the trip and knows someone in every country you've always wanted to visit. She's a treat :)
During the day Sally slays the denim game (she's a mastermind behind making your jeans fit and flatter), so to say she has a thing for denim is an understatement. She is a denim collector, and she displays her pieces on the wall like art. I LOVE this. I decided to center each of Sally's looks around some amazing denim from her collection to stay really true to her.
For the first look I wanted to showcase Sally's long legs, the girl is petite at 5'4", and I swear she's all legs! I chose great a pair of black destroyed skinny jeans and an oversized sweater. We did a little half tuck and added some strappy sandals to complete the look. I think this look balances her out while highlighting a great feature, super key if you are petite like Sally!
I wanted to do a fun going out look for Sal, so I utilized one of my favorite pieces that has come back in style lately, the bodysuit. Bodysuits are so easy to just throw on with a pair of jeans for a trip downtown with the girls (go looser on the jeans to avoid looking too extra). I loved this one because it shows off her great bod without being super "sexy". I wanted to channel her casual confidence!
Sally has this GREAT jean jacket, it was her dad's jacket back in the day (points for all the dads out there with good taste!), and I knew I had to include it for her last look. I just love a good bit of nostalgia!
This geometric print dress (with pockets!) was a great feminine piece to pair with the jacket, they work together to create a polished yet sassy look. I could see her wearing this outfit, strolling down a cobblestone street somewhere she doesn't speak the language, planning her next scrunchie design (oh ya... she makes scrunchies too, because she's freaking cool, and a true 90's baby).
What was your favorite look I put together for Sally? Are you a denim lover too? Tell me in the comments below!
